Sales Trainee

About the role

Based in the DENZA showroom in Fyshwick, you will work alongside Product Specialists to deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist customers in finding the vehicle best suited to their lifestyle and needs. You will combine strong communication skills, a passion for technology and a customer-first mindset to create a seamless and premium customer journey—from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of DENZA vehicles, technology and brand values
• Build sales and customer engagement skills through hands-on experience and mentoring
• Participate in ongoing product and sales training, both online and in person
• Welcome customers to the showroom and manage incoming enquiries
• Support Product Specialists with vehicle presentations and test drives
• Work collaboratively with the DENZA Canberra team to gain broad industry experience
• Represent the DENZA brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and integrity
• Continuously expand knowledge of EV and PHEV technology, industry developments and market trends

About you

• Genuine passion for customer experience and emerging technology
• Strong computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills
• Confidence in building rapport and engaging with a diverse range of customers
• Proactive, positive and team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or a similar customer-facing environment
• Current and valid driver's licence
