Join Our Team as an Office Manager in Sydney CBD
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and highly organised Office Manager to oversee our Sydney CBD office. The ideal candidate enjoys improving office systems, supporting staff and taking ownership of the day-to-day operations of a busy professional workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee general office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Maintain office facilities and equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out.
Work closely with our venture companies to provide administrative assistance and support.
Assist with onboarding processes and pre-employment checks.
Maintain HR files, including leave tracking and reporting.
Monitor and follow up on mandatory team training obligations.
Collate, review, and process monthly timesheets for payroll (MYOB software knowledge beneficial but not mandatory).
Prepare, edit, and format reports and correspondence.
Monitor compliance requirements and follow up as needed.
Maintain organised filing systems for documents and records.
Provide ad-hoc administrative support to senior staff, including minute-taking when required.
Act as the first point of contact for office-related queries and coordinate supplier/vendor relationships.
What We Are Looking For:
10 years' experience in office administration or office management preferred.
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
MYOB software knowledge beneficial but not essential.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence supporting staff at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
