Occupational Therapist

About the Role

We are looking for passionate, energetic and caring Occupational Therapist to join our growing Therapy Team at one of our hubs in Joondalup, Midland or Shenton Park on a full-time or part-time basis.

As part of our collaborative multidisciplinary Therapy Team, you will have access to comprehensive training and development, as well as the opportunity to specialise your skill set within a particular age group by working within our Early Intervention and School Age teams.

In this role, you will:

• Complete assessments and develop individualised goals: Use a strengths-based approach to assess areas of support and collaborate with families to set meaningful goals.
• Deliver individualised and family-centred therapy: Support independence, motor skill development, emotional regulation, sensory processing, play and engagement in daily activities. Work closely with families to embed strategies into everyday routines and support participation meaningful environments such as home, school, and community settings.
• Variety in your day: Provide a combination of hub-based therapy and community visits in your local area. lead therapy groups across a range of ages and skill areas focused on play, regulation, motor skills, independence and social engagement.
• Be part of a team: Collaborate and learn from a knowledgeable and supportive multidisciplinary team; be part of a hub with regular team meetings, clinical supervision, joint sessions and team building activities.
• Grow your passion: Develop your clinical pathway by joining our specialty teams
• Do more of what you love: Be supported by a team of operations staff to assist with resource making, scheduling, funding and billing, so you can focus on your clinical work.
• Make a difference in the community: Participate in community events and projects through our extensive community partnerships to support inclusion for all. Some of our community partners include AQWA, The Art Gallery of Western Australia, SciTech, Sensitive Santa, WA Cricket.
  

About You

Additional requirements for the role include:

• Registration with AHPRA
• A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with children and/or adults with disability and their families is desirable
  

To join our team you will be required to complete required clearances including a NDIS Workers Check.
