Nurse Unit Manager

Mitcham Private Hospital are looking for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager on a permanent part-time basis! 

About the role: 

The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) provides management in a 6-bed Early parenting centre for 6 weeks to 12-month-old infants, supporting sleep and settling techniques with a multidisciplinary team. 

The role is responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff, coordinating day-to-day clinical operations, maintaining accreditation and quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The NUM works closely with families, clinicians, and community services to achieve positive health outcomes while ensuring a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for both patients and staff.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge. You will hold a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring;

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum three (3) years’ nursing experience
• Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
• Minimum 12 months management experience
• Experience in paediatric nursing highly regarded

Additional Information
