We are seeking a motivated, commercially minded and customer-focused WA Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Customer and Commercial team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new opportunities and turning conversations into business. You'll support the growth of RediMed's customer base by proactively identifying prospects, following up warm leads, engaging with potential customers and supporting the sales process from initial opportunity through to conversion.

You'll be a confident communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, make the connection and follow an opportunity through. You'll also support existing customer engagement and help identify opportunities to expand RediMed's reach across Western Australia.

About the Role

As the WA Business Development Coordinator, you will play an important role in generating and progressing new business opportunities for RediMed.

A key focus of the role will be prospecting and lead generation. You'll identify potential customers through a range of sources, including conference and event lists, existing databases, customer and patient activity, industry networks and other targeted prospecting opportunities.

You'll research prospective customers, make outbound calls, follow up warm leads and enquiries, and build relationships with potential customers to understand their needs and introduce them to RediMed's services.

You'll also support customer engagement activities, prepare proposals and quotes, coordinate meetings and assist with tenders and other business development initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the "hunting and gathering" side of business development —finding the opportunity, making the connection and following it through.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research and engage with new business opportunities across Western Australia.
• Proactively generate leads through industry research, events, customer activity and other prospecting sources.
• Make outbound phone calls to prospective customers and follow up warm leads and enquiries.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities.
• Follow up leads consistently and progress opportunities through the sales process.
• Research prospective organisations to understand their workforce, industry and potential healthcare needs.
• Coordinate introductory meetings, sales conversations and customer presentations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes and other business development documentation.
• Identify, investigate and engage with tender and RFQ opportunities.
• Support the preparation and coordination of tender submissions.
• Conduct regular engagement with existing customers to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for improvement or additional services.
• Support customer events, functions, conferences and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with the broader Customer and Commercial team to progress opportunities and support business growth.

About You

You are an organised, proactive and commercially minded professional who enjoys connecting with people and creating opportunities.

You're comfortable picking up the phone, starting a conversation with a prospective customer and following up until you get an outcome. You enjoy researching, finding new leads and working out who the right people are to speak with.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in business development, sales, customer service, account coordination, sales support or customer success.
• Confidence making outbound calls and following up leads.
• A proactive approach to lead generation, prospecting and business development.
• Experience using databases, CRM systems or other tools to research and manage prospects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence engaging with customers and building professional relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently follow through on opportunities.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify potential business opportunities.
• A resilient and persistent approach to sales and lead follow-up.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the broader team.

Experience within healthcare, occupational health, workers' compensation, corporate services, or a related industry would be highly regarded.
