About the role

We are a growing and respected commercial plumbing contractor seeking an experienced Foreman Plumber to join our team. Specialising in commercial fitout and refurbishment projects, we deliver high-quality outcomes across office, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced tradesperson who can effectively supervise site operations, coordinate teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
About the RoleAs a Foreman Plumber, you will lead small to medium-sized teams across a variety of commercial projects, taking ownership of day-to-day site activities while maintaining strong communication with builders, project managers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise plumbing teams on commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
Coordinate daily site operations to meet project deadlines and budgets
Read and interpret hydraulic drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Liaise with builders, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance across site activities
Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality installation standards
Manage labour resources, material requirements, and site reporting
Mentor apprentices and tradespeople, supporting their development and performance
Identify and resolve site challenges to keep projects progressing smoothly
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current Plumbing Licence
Proven experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand, or Senior Commercial Plumber
Strong background in commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
Ability to confidently read and interpret hydraulic plans and drawings
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Sound understanding of WHS legislation and site safety requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Current Driver's Licence
A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
