Cafe Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Supervisor to support the Manager in leading our team at Woods & Co. Cafe - The New Maitland Hospital.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment and is passionate about customer service, team leadership, and delivering high-quality food and coffee.

About the Role

As Café Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service, strong team communication, and consistently high standards across both food and customer experience.

The ideal working roster will be Wednesday - Sunday.

The role will commence in a part time capacity with a view to fulltime to transition into the role when our Supervisor takes Maternity leave.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in customer service and coffee preparation within a café or retail food environment

• Sound understanding of food safety practices and systems

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow and implement procedures

• Confident, clear, and professional communication skills

• Pride in food handling and presentation

• Experience with cash handling, including opening and closing procedures
