Grade 2 Social Worker | Adult Acute | Casey Hospital

We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Grade 2 Social Worker to join our Adult Acute Social Work team at Casey Hospital on a permanent part-time (0.8 EFT) basis.

Working within a busy acute hospital environment, you'll provide high-quality psychosocial assessment, intervention and advocacy to adult patients and their families. From supporting people through unexpected diagnoses and life-changing events to facilitating complex discharge planning and connecting patients with the services they need, you'll play a vital role in delivering holistic, person-centred care.

You're a compassionate and resilient Social Worker who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We're looking for someone who has:

• Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• A minimum of two years' post-graduate experience, preferably within a healthcare setting
• Strong psychosocial assessment, intervention and complex discharge planning skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Sound clinical judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary practice
• A commitment to continuous learning and evidence-informed practice
