Job Description

At TAL, our Senior Business Analysts play a vital role in transforming the claims experience by turning complex challenges into meaningful, customer-focused solutions. Working at the heart of change initiatives, they help shape how we deliver support when people need it most, connecting strategy, technology and operations to drive better outcomes. By improving the way claims services are designed and delivered, this role contributes directly to TAL’s purpose of protecting people, not just for today, but for the future.

In this role you will:

• Lead the redesign of claims processes and operating practices to improve customer, consultant and business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and optimise claims workflows through data, technology and emerging capabilities.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, testable requirements that enable successful solution delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration across business, technology, risk and product teams to align priorities and accelerate decisions.
• Design customer-centric solutions that balance operational effectiveness, compliance and service excellence.
• Influence claims transformation outcomes by providing expert guidance and driving adoption of future-state ways of working.

Qualifications

• Bring experience in life insurance claims or related operational environments, with an understanding of customer journeys, service delivery and risk considerations.
• Apply strong business analysis skills to translate complex problems into clear requirements, process improvements and practical solutions.
• Communicate complex information clearly and effectively, tailoring messages to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships and collaborate across teams, facilitating conversations that drive alignment and positive outcomes.
• Take a curious and analytical approach to problem-solving, using data, insights and critical thinking to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Adapt to change and embrace continuous improvement, demonstrating ownership, resilience and a willingness to learn new tools, technologies and ways of working.
