The ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fabricator to join our team at HBMI, Tasmania’s largest quarry. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality fabrication and maintenance services across our operations.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high safety standards. You will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of plant and equipment. 

About YOU

• Commitment to our Safety 1st Always Works Culture
• A relevant Trade qualification
• Strong welding and fabrication experience across a range of processes and procedures
• Experience repairing and maintaining a variety of heavy industry equipment and machinery (mining/quarrying industry experience desirable)
• A willingness to mentor and assist in the training and development of apprentices
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or part of a small team 
• Strong communication skills
