Role Details
The Principal Policy Officer plays a key role in advancing the Authority's strategic objectives by providing policy leadership, analysis and
advice on complex issues affecting recreational fishing in South Australia. The role contributes to the development of evidence-informed
policy, supports government decision-making and helps shape reforms that deliver long-term benefits for the community, industry and
the State.
Working collaboratively across government and with a diverse range of stakeholders, the role fosters effective partnerships, facilitates
informed discussion on complex issues and contributes to a coordinated approach to policy development, implementation and
evaluation.

Through a coordinated, evidence-based approach, the Authority contributes to sustainable recreational fishing outcomes that deliver social, economic and community benefits for South Australia.
