Structural Engineer – Perth, WA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team, working on projects across Perth and surrounding areas. This role offers excellent career development opportunities along with the flexibility to complete structural design work from home, while attending site inspections and meetings as required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and document structural engineering projects

• Prepare structural calculations and engineering documentation

• Perform structural modelling using industry-standard software

• Resolve technical design and construction queries

• Attend site inspections across Perth and surrounding areas

• Respond to RFIs and prepare engineering reports

• Work closely with senior engineers and project managers

• Contribute to delivering high-quality engineering solutions for clients

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience as a Structural Design Engineer

• CPEng or NER (or actively working towards these qualifications) will be highly regarded

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong knowledge of structural design and documentation for reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures

• Proficiency in structural analysis and modelling software including ClearCalcs, ETABS, Wallap, and Structural Toolkit

• Expert knowledge of relevant Australian Standards including AS1170, AS3600, AS3700, AS1720, AS4100, AS2870, and the National Construction Code (NCC)

• White Card

• Current Western Australian Driver Licence (or ability to obtain one)

• Full Australian working rights
