Cleaning Supervisor

Based in a retail environment, we are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor predominantly working Monday to Friday, this role is “Hands-on” and will include some weekends and afterhours attention.

The successful candidate must be able to adopt a flexible schedule when needed and be available for an immediate start.

Working with the operations team, the Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for a range of tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Managing and completing site cleaning tasks to the highest standard

• Rostering and staff management

• Effective communication with all team members

• Stock and supply's control

• Overseeing all equipment maintenance programs

• Client liaison and interaction 

• Inspections of the site, and follow up where required

• Reporting internally, and externally as required

• Inspections 

• Staff training

• Managing all WHS compliance requirements

• Implementing initiatives to drive a high-performing and safe work environment

• General cleaning duties as required

• Maintaining all periodical work

• Reporting of any maintenance requirements

The Candidate

• Must be a motivated self-starter 

• Proven leadership skills

• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment under pressure

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar role is essential.

• An eye for attention to detail

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Experience with Information technology, including rostering portals

• Customer service excellence

• Current Police check
