Cath Lab Registered Nurses | Agency Contract Opportunity | Tasmania

HealthOne is recruiting six experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurses for an urgent deployment in Tasmania.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supported cardiac services team on a minimum six-week contract, with ASAP start dates. Longer contracts, extensions, ongoing locum work and permanent opportunities may also be available.

About the role

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary cardiac team, supporting patients throughout their Cath Lab journey. Depending on your experience and the facility’s requirements, responsibilities may include:

• Preparing patients for cardiac procedures

• Scrub and circulating duties

• Assisting with coronary angiography and interventional procedures

• ECG, haemodynamic and patient monitoring

• Supporting patient safety during conscious sedation

• Post-procedure care and recovery

• Recognising and responding to clinical deterioration

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and infection-control standards

What you’ll need

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Must have recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory

• Current Cath Lab clinical competencies

• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, monitoring and emergency response

• Australian working rights

• Availability to start as soon as possible

• Ability to commit to at least six weeks

Experience across scrub/scout, circulating, monitoring, angiography or PCI procedures will be highly regarded.
