1-3 year Apprentice joiner, cabinetmaker, shopfitter

About the role

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic 1-3 year Apprentice joiner, cabinetmaker, shopfitter to join our team at Kalo Design Shopfitting pty ltd' in Bankstown, NSW. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the trades and services industry, specifically within carpentry and cabinet making.

What you'll be doing

• Assist our experienced team in the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality shopfittings and cabinetry

• Gain hands-on experience in the use of power tools, machinery and hand tools to create furniture and fittings

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications to ensure accurate and precise work

• Undertake general workshop maintenance and cleaning duties

• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Genuine interest and passion for carpentry, cabinet making and shopfitting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Basic knowledge of woodworking and the ability to follow instructions

• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Willingness to learn and develop your skills
