Logistics, Administration & Precast Coordinator

About the role

This varied role combines customer service, logistics, stock control and precast production. You will support the daily operations of a concrete and precast business, moving between office duties and hands-on production work. The successful applicant must be willing and physically able to step into the precast shed and manufacture products when required.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager by answering phones, booking jobs and keeping customers informed

• Process precast orders and respond to customer enquiries

• Coordinate deliveries and customer collections

• Monitor stock levels and order materials and supplies

• Prepare purchase orders and maintain supplier paperwork

• Pack, label and prepare pallets for delivery

• Manufacture precast products, including preparing moulds, pouring concrete, stripping products and resetting the work area

• Operate a forklift and provide general assistance in the yard when required

About you

• Organised, reliable and confident communicating with customers

• Comfortable moving between office duties and hands-on production work

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Experience in precast, concrete, manufacturing, warehousing or construction is advantageous

• A current forklift licence is desirable but not essential
