The Opportunity

We're seeking a trade qualified and motivated Electrician to support our Ballast Cleaning Team. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain specialised equipment on the Plasser RM900 Ballast Cleaner and MFS Ballast Cleaning Consist, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works across Pilbara rail networks.

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Trade Operator, you will:

• Operate key electrical workstations on the RM900/MFS Ballast Cleaning Consist

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running at peak performance

• Respond to and repair electrical breakdowns during operations to reduce downtime

• Identify and report electrical faults, malfunctions, or defects for timely resolution

• Support the broader team with electrical repairs when required

What You'll Bring

• Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Certificate (Cert III or equivalent)

• Current WA Electrical Licence, White Card, and CPR/LVR certification

• Demonstrated experience operating and/or maintaining ballast cleaning equipment (Plasser RM900 / MFS wagons or similar highly regarded)

• Current Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence

• Ability to supply your own trade-specific tools
