People and Culture Advisor

Based in our Sydney office and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the P&C Advisor will provide hands-on, day-to-day People & Culture support to IREN's corporate functions. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional with a solid grounding in the fundamentals to broaden their experience across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-growing, global business.
Working closely with the People & Culture Manager and the wider team, the P&C Advisor will support onboarding, employee queries, HR administration and coordination of people programs, while building strong relationships with employees and managers across the corporate teams they support.

• Approximately 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Coordinator, HR Officer or P&C Advisor, with exposure across the employee lifecycle.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of Australian employment practices, including the Fair Work framework, National Employment Standards, modern awards and superannuation.
• Solid HR administration skills with strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable, service-oriented manner.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
