Full-time Legal Assistant opportunity - Litigation

This role would suit someone with 4+ years' experience of working as a legal assistant with a litigious background.

The Role

As a legal assistant in our busy team, you will be working on a variety of Litigation files including but not limited to – Owners Corporation, Compulsory Acquisition, Insolvency and commercial litigation  files. You will collaborate with your colleagues providing timely file progression and regular communication.

Appropriate to your experience and skill level, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparation of correspondence
2. File management
3. Email and calendar management
4. Liaising with clients and external parties/organisations
5. Drafting Court documents, on-line court filing and brief preparation
6. Assisting with project work to identify land being acquired
7. Supporting a lawyer with all aspects of a litigious file

About you

You will have at least four years' experience in a legal environment with a genuine interest in all aspects of property disputes, owner’s corporation and general litigation supporting numerous practitioners.
