About the role

Rescom Joinery is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Helensvale, QLD, this role is fundamental to our manufacturing operations, providing essential support across our assembly and process work activities. As a Labourer, you will play a vital part in ensuring our production runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to the quality of our joinery products and the success of our business.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing materials and work areas for production processes

• Moving, lifting and storing materials, components and finished goods safely and efficiently

• Performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organized workplace

• Following all health, safety and quality procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Assisting with quality checks and inspection of products as required

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

What we're looking for

• Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in accordance with health and safety protocols

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and processes

• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to understand work instructions and safety information

• Current or willingness to obtain relevant safety certifications as required by the role
