Salesforce & MuleSoft Practice
DXC's Salesforce and MuleSoft practice delivers end-to-end CRM and integration solutions, helping organisations modernise customer engagement and connect complex enterprise systems. The practice provides advisory, architecture, implementation, integration, and managed services across the Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging MuleSoft's API-led connectivity to enable scalable digital transformation and seamless business processes.

About the Role

The MuleSoft Capability Lead provides technical and people leadership for DXC’s MuleSoft capability while remaining hands-on in the design and delivery of integration solutions and pre-sales proposals. This is a dual role position combining architecture, delivery and practice leadership. Leading a team of DXC MuleSoft Consultants, Architects and Developers, the Mulesoft Capability Lead will ensure successful customer outcomes while growing the practice through technical leadership, presales support and capability development. When required, you will also be billable on customer engagements, providing solution architecture and hands-on delivery for complex integration projects.
  
Key Responsibilities
  
Practice Leadership

• Lead and grow the MuleSoft Practice, establishing technical standards, delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Provide people leadership, including coaching, mentoring, performance management and career development.
• Manage resource planning, utilisation and workforce capacity across customer engagements.
• Build and maintain a high-performing MuleSoft capability through recruitment, onboarding and capability development.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery quality, governance and technical standards.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Lead the architecture and design of enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Leverage AI technology during requirements managing, API builds, customer proposals and people assessment and development 
• Provide technical leadership across complex integration programmes.
• Remain hands-on in solution design, API development, troubleshooting and delivery where required.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex customer engagements.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reusable and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

Customer & Presales

• Partner with sales teams to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Lead discovery workshops and customer solution discussions.
• Develop solution approaches, estimates, statements of work and technical proposals.
• Present solution architectures to customers and executive stakeholders.
• Support RFPs, RFIs and bid responses.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and act as a technical advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Delivery Leadership

• Provide oversight across MuleSoft delivery engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, quality, budget and timelines.
• Manage technical risks and support project teams to resolve delivery challenges.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers and delivery teams across the wider Microsoft and Integration practices.

  
Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proven experience as a MuleSoft Solution Architect or Lead Architect.
• Strong hands-on development experience with API-led connectivity, integration patterns and enterprise integration architecture.
• Experience designing REST APIs, event-driven architectures and hybrid integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of API governance, security and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating cloud and on-premises applications, SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring architects and developers.
• Experience managing team utilisation, resource planning and people performance.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting presales, estimating and solution shaping.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• MuleSoft certifications (such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect) are highly desirable.
