Project Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Salary‑based, full‑time position located in Mackay & Coalfields. You will work across engineering and projects teams, managing projects from tendering to close‑out while developing products and tools in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Ansys to support site teams.

• Provide onsite Project Engineering support, including cost control, Gantt updates, QA management, and technical engineering support.
• Provide office‑based (Mackay) support, including quoting, tendering, building Gantt charts, pad layouts, lift planning, and technical engineering support.
• Support the Project team in improving systems and site documentation.
• Assist the Engineering team in designing and engineering new jigs and rolling out new designs/jigs onsite.
• Contribute to winning and executing projects successfully.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of Project Engineering experience and a desire to develop further in this space.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and collaborative skills for solving complex problems.
• Well‑developed computer skills, including word processing, MS Project, and spreadsheets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
