Lola’s Pergola is seeking an experienced Bar Attendant (Supervisor) for a full-time position within our licensed food and beverage venue.

The role reports to the Venue Manager and/or venue owner and is responsible for ensuring customers are served professionally and efficiently, while supervising bar staff and assisting with stock, cash and daily venue operations.

Skill Level: Equivalent to ANZSCO Skill Level 4

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train other bar attendants
• Assist with staff rostering
• Take reservations, greet and seat guests
• Report to the Venue Manager and/or venue owner
• Assist with end-of-shift transaction reconciliation
• Handle cash, payments and banking
• Coordinate and manage stocktakes
• Prepare and serve cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Operate POS systems and cash registers
• Maintain and clean bar service areas
• Wash and organise glassware
• Tap kegs and attach supply lines
• Replenish drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
• Promote venue products and services
• Perform general waiting and hospitality duties as required

Skills & Experience

Applicants should have relevant bar and hospitality experience, including experience supervising or training staff.

You should also have:

• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with cash handling, POS systems and stock control
• Good knowledge of bar operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced licensed venue
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Current NT RSA, or ability to obtain one
