Looking to try something new? CPT Operator (full time)

PROBEDRILL PTY LTD are currently seeking a Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) Rig operator to join our team on a full time basis.

No previous CPT experience is required as we will provide all on-the-job training, however we are looking for someone mechanically minded.

Other workshop skills would be desirable, to compliment the position.

Pay rates $37.00/hr - $55.50/hr

Some of the duties of the position include:

• Operate CPT rigs for geotechnical site investigation

• Drive a HR truck on/off road

• General Workshop skills, i.e. welding, spray painting, mechanical, electrical repairs etc.

• Basic service of trucks & tracked rigs

• Basic computer skills

• Client liaison

Work is mostly in and around Perth and you will be paid at a flat rate of $35.00/hr (with three months probationary period). A higher hourly rate will be considered depending the level of qualifications you may bring to the position (eg. Qualified HD mechanic etc).

The position also involves regional work which is on an "as-needs" basis (not a regular roster) and may require you to be away for up to two weeks at a time. We require someone that has the flexibility to be able to work away (and not on a set roster).

An uplifted flat rate applies to Away work, $46.25 (1.25x standard) and Weekend Work, $55.50 (1.5x standard). Standard Annual Leave and Sick Leave entitlements will also apply.

We are looking for someone who is available to start immediately, is young, fit & healthy, keen to learn a new skill, has a good work ethic, and preferably a non-smoker.

Applicants must have Australian work rights and eligibility to work in Australia.

The successful applicant will also take a good common sense approach to any situation and be able to liaise with our clients in a professional manner.

Ideally we would like the successful applicant to already have their HR (or HC) licence, but this is not essential as training can be provided.
