About the Role
As a Graduate Mental Health AOD Support Worker, you will learn and grow alongside experienced mentors, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment. This four-day-a-week contract role is designed to help you develop essential skills while building your knowledge in mental health and AOD support. The role entails:

• Attend training 1 day per week to build knowledge in mental health, AOD, and support strategies.
• Learn how to complete Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) processes to determine the appropriate level of care for each consumer.
• Assist to support consumers by learning & developing tailored plans, coordinating referrals, and assisting with care navigation and discharge planning.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to case reviews, and build connections with local service providers to enhance consumer support.
• Build expertise in systems, documentation, risk management, client engagement, and support strategies.

It is a requirement of this position to meet all compliance requirements concerning NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children's Check, work rights and possess a current & valid driver’s licence.
