Green Garden Childcare

Our mission is to provide premium education and care in a safe, welcoming, nurturing and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of each individual child and their family. We are currently looking for professional, passionate and committed members to join our team.
About the Centre
We are new established 56 place childcare centre in Penrith. The centre prides itself on its high-end renovation and variable resources allowing children and educators to explore and connect with great support.
About the Role
Permanent part-time or Full-time role
Monday to Friday
The successful applicant will;
Have experience and passion for cooking healthy and nutritious meals
Have completed relevant vocational qualifications in commercial cookery, food safety supervisors certificate and have a current working with children's check
Be experienced in developing a healthy and nutritious rotating menu for children, including children with allergies and intolerances
Be reliable, motivated, positive, responsible and enthusiastic member of the Team
Have great time management skills and be confident in managing a kitchen;
Be available 5 days a week
You will be responsible for;
Preparing healthy & nutritious meals on time for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for babies and children each day, including the preparation of purees and special diet meals
Menu planning, in accordance with the centre's nutrition policy and guidelines;
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements;
Providing a barista service to families.
Ordering food supplies in line with Menus and within service budget
Organising and holding monthly cooking classes with the Preschooler’s programs.
