About the role
An exciting opportunity is available to join our Waste and Resource Recovery team as a Waste and Litter Response Officer.
This hands-on and rewarding role is responsible for delivering waste and litter collection services across the municipality, helping to maintain clean, safe and welcoming public spaces for the community. You will undertake a variety of operational activities including dumped rubbish collection, litter collection, litter bin maintenance and operating Council’s waste compactor vehicle.
Working in a dynamic outdoor environment, you will play a key role in supporting Council’s waste and resource recovery while delivering high-quality customer service and contributing to the continuous improvement of waste and litter services. The role also involves the safe operation of plant and equipment, responding to customer requests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with Council's safety and operational procedures.
