Processing Planner

Join our team as a Processing Planner and play a key role in keeping our gold processing operation running safely, efficiently and reliably. You’ll bring together people, resources, equipment and priorities to ensure the right work happens at the right time.

About the role

As the Processing Planner, you’ll coordinate the day-to-day planning and scheduling of Processing activities, ensuring the right people, equipment and resources are in place to get the job done safely and efficiently.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing weekly Processing and Laboratory work schedules.
• Planning routine operational activities, maintenance, inspections, housekeeping and monitoring.
• Coordinating shutdown preparation, plant modifications and complex work packages.
• Developing job packs, resource requirements and work scopes.
• Monitoring work management KPIs, backlog and compliance to plan.
• Coordinating parts, labour and external vendors.
• Working closely with Processing, Maintenance, Metallurgy and Shutdown Planning teams to support plant improvements and reliable execution.
• Maintaining and improving CMMS tasks, templates and planning processes.

About you

You’re an organised, proactive and mechanically minded planner who understands the realities of a fixed plant processing environment. You can coordinate competing priorities, communicate confidently with stakeholders and turn complex work scopes into practical, executable plans.

You’ll bring:

• 4+ years’ experience in either fixed plant electrical maintenance or Processing Operator/Maintainer roles.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A sound understanding of maintenance and processing activities, including P&IDs, process flows and task execution requirements.
• Experience with CMMS systems, ideally Pronto, plus Microsoft Excel and Project.
• Experience with SCADA systems and automated/semi-automated processing plant operations.
• Knowledge of group isolations and isolation permits; Group Isolation Controller experience is highly regarded.
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
