About the role

Thaxted Park Golf Club is seeking a Bar and Food Attendant to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. Based at our venue in Woodcroft SA 5162, this role offers flexibility for those looking to work on an as-needed basis whilst delivering exceptional service to our members and guests. As a Bar and Food Attendant, you will be at the heart of our hospitality operations, ensuring every visitor enjoys a welcoming and professional experience in our bar and dining areas.

Key responsibilities

• Serving beverages and food to members and guests in a friendly and efficient manner

• Taking food and drink orders accurately and processing payments

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bar and dining areas

• Restocking bar supplies, glassware and equipment as required

• Preparing and presenting beverages according to club standards

• Engaging with customers to ensure their satisfaction and providing recommendations where appropriate

• Supporting the bar and kitchen teams during busy service periods

• Following all health and safety regulations and club policies

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a hospitality, bar or restaurant environment is desirable

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak times

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

• Flexibility and willingness to work casual shifts as required

• Reliability and punctuality

• Responsible attitude towards health and safety procedures

• Current RSA Certificate essential, with RP badge preferred
