About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Storeperson to support the delivery of major Data Centre and Electrical Infrastructure Projects.

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and material logistics function. The successful candidate will ensure electrical materials, tools, equipment, and project deliveries are accurately received, stored, tracked, and distributed to project sites.

A strong understanding of electrical equipment and materials is essential. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, procurement teams, and electricians to ensure project requirements are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.

• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.

• Pick, pack, and dispatch materials and equipment to project sites.

• Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers and site teams.

• Maintain tool, plant, and equipment registers.

• Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory audits.

• Monitor stock levels and identify material shortages.

• Assist with procurement and material forecasting activities.

• Ensure warehouse operations are safe, clean, and well organised.

• Support project teams with urgent material requests and site logistics.

• Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation relating to materials and equipment.

About You

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Coordinator, or Logistics Officer within the electrical or construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, materials, and components is mandatory.

• Ability to identify and manage items such as:

  • Cable and cable accessories

  • Switchboards

  • Circuit breakers

  • Cable trays and supports

  • Conduits and fittings

  • Lighting products

  • Transformers

  • Electrical distribution equipment

  • Testing equipment and tools

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Good computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Current driver's licence.

• Forklift Licence (LF).

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting Data Centre, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems.

• Understanding of electrical project delivery and site operations.

• Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
