Warehouse Storeperson Freight Handler

At AMS eGroup, we're proud to be one of Australia's leading logistics and 3PL providers, delivering freight solutions across the country. We're looking for a reliable, motivated Freight Handler to join our warehouse team and play a key role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently.

This is a physically active, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the move and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

As a Warehouse Storeperson - Freight Handler, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of freight through our warehouse. Your day will include:

• Receiving, sorting and dispatching freight

• Scanning and tracking freight using warehouse systems

• Loading and unloading vehicles and containers

• Safely operating manual handling equipment

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

This position requires you to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including:

• Regular lifting and carrying of items up to 22kg

• Frequent standing, walking and bending throughout your shift

• Repetitive manual handling tasks

• Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and committed to safety

• Physically capable of performing the inherent requirements of the role

• A team player with a positive attitude

• Detail-oriented with good accuracy when handling freight

• Willing to learn and follow warehouse procedures

While not essential, experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

• Customs-controlled or bonded freight

• Import and export operations

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Freight, transport or logistics environments

• Stable, ongoing employment with a respected national logistics provider
