An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Nurse Manager to join the Staffing and Allocations team at Nepean Hospital in a Temporary Full-Time role.

This leadership role is integral to ensuring the effective coordination and allocation of Nursing resources across the Hospital, supporting safe, high-quality patient care through strategic workforce management. You will work collaboratively with Nursing Leaders, Operational Managers and Multidisciplinary teams to optimise staffing, respond to changing clinical demands, and promote efficient workforce utilisation.  

As the Nurse Manager, Staffing & Allocations, you will provide operational leadership for the Staffing and Allocations service, coordinate and manage the allocation of Nursing staff to meet clinical service demands, monitor staffing requirements and implement strategies to support safe staffing levels, lead and support the Staffing and Allocations team, fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture and utilise workforce management systems and data to inform staffing decisions and improve service delivery. This is a role that will see you  build strong relationships with Nurse Unit Managers, After Hours Nurse Managers and Executive Stakeholders to ensure responsive workforce planning. 

You will bring to this role strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret workforce data, exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, staff wellbeing and excellence in patient care.
