New Hunter Industrial Services (NHIS) is a locally owned and operated company providing engineering, construction, maintenance, and industrial services to the resources, infrastructure, and construction sectors throughout the Newcastle Region.

We are currently seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers to join our growing team.

These are casual positions for both workshop and site-based fabrication and maintenance works, with ongoing work available and the opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidates.

To be successful in this role, applicants will ideally possess:

• Relevant Australian Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker.

• High commitment to safety and quality.

• Experience in workshop fabrication, site maintenance and installation works.

• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and pass a welding test.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Current Confined Space certification (highly regarded).

• Working at Heights certification (highly regarded).

• High Risk Work Licence – WP (highly regarded).

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
