Account Manager - NSW

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Sydney Team (Head Office location Wetherill Park).

About the Role

This position will be responsible for strengthening JD Security's relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction, retention and long-term partnership with us.

You'll focus on expanding our footprint within accounts through renewals, maintenance agreements and additional product and service offerings, working closely with our internal project and service teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with assigned customers, positioning JD Security as their long-term security partner
• Develop account plans focused on retention, customer satisfaction and growth across products and services
• Lead customer site walks and needs assessments, and prepare timely, competitive quotes and tenders
• Drive revenue growth within existing accounts, converting single-solution customers into multi-solution partners
• Take ownership of contract renewals and lifecycle management, ensuring proactive engagement well ahead of expiry dates
• Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, sales activity and customer satisfaction

About You

• Proven experience in Account Management and/or Business Development and sales within the electronic security industry (knowledge of Genetec, Gallagher, Avigilon, Integriti, Axis and Te Com highly regarded)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
• Comfortable working with commercial software packages (e.g. SimPRO) and the Microsoft Office suite
• A genuine team player who thrives on delivering excellent customer outcomes
