Clinical Coordinator - 1300SMILES Gladstone

Take the lead on the clinical side of a busy Gladstone practice.

1300SMILES Gladstone is looking for a Clinical Coordinator to join the team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role that combines clinical knowledge with organisation, leadership and day-to-day coordination. You’ll work closely with the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist to keep clinical operations organised, compliant and running efficiently.

You’ll play an important role in maintaining clinical standards, overseeing day-to-day processes, managing stock and lab work, and helping the clinical team stay organised, supported and set up for success.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating day-to-day clinical operations and supporting the clinical team
• Overseeing infection control processes and clinical standards
• Managing clinical stock, materials and inventory
• Maintaining records for incoming and outgoing laboratory work
• Coordinating the storage and archiving of dental models
• Completing and monitoring daily clinical checklists
• Identifying opportunities to improve clinical processes and workflow
• Supporting the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist with clinical training and development
• Providing guidance and support to the wider clinical team
• Providing Dental Assisting support when required

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• Previous dental experience is essential
• Experience in a senior Dental Assisting, Clinical Coordinator or similar role is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence managing stock, records and clinical processes
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting and guiding others
• A practical approach to problem-solving and improving the way things are done
