Store person / Warehouse

About the role:

This is a full time role based at our Bayswater/Boronia location in Melbourne, VIC.  The successful applicant will enjoy working in a positive team environment, providing outstanding customer care by ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times when fulfilling orders for customers.  This is a varied role with opportunity to develop skills and take ownership.

Tasks & responsibilities

·        Pick, Pack, Dispatch

·        Accurate packing of client orders for transport including packing slip and tracking labels.

·        Receipt, allocate, and count items into bin locations within warehouse

·        Move and store products in warehouse using forklift

·        Computer based order fulfilment including printing freight sticker labels and packing slips

·        Liaise with transport suppliers, freight forwarders, and manifesting daily pickups

·        Local deliveries to customers

·        Collect products from suppliers

·        Assembly of some items prior to dispatch

·        Periodic stocktaking

·        Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

·        Liaise with Account Managers and office

·        Identify where improvement is required in warehouse and make suggestions

Qualifications & experience

·        Valid driver's licence

·        Forklift Licence and experience

·        Ability to comfortably lift 25Kg

·        Warehouse and freight handling experience

·        Solid work history demonstrating reliability

·        Good written and verbal skills

·        Police Check

·        Right to work permanently in Australia
