Sales Assistant / Store Person – Battery Retail

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Sales Assistant / Store Person to join a busy retail store. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, being on their feet, and getting involved in day-to-day store operations.

About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting customers in a retail environment, including general store duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers with battery sales and product enquiries

• Changing and fitting vehicle batteries

• General retail sales and customer service

• Store person duties including stock handling and housekeeping

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised store

• Supporting daily store operations as required

About You:

• Energetic, reliable, and motivated

• Enjoys hands-on work and customer interaction

• Willing to learn and follow procedures

• Mechanical aptitude or experience changing vehicle batteries is an advantage (training provided)

• Retail or trade experience preferred but not essential

• Able to work full-time hours
