About the Role
As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will lead the success of our Consumer & Wellness portfolio, developing and executing commercially focused trade marketing strategies that drive brand growth across key retail and pharmacy channels.
Working closely with Brand, Sales, Category and Customer teams, you'll identify growth opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and deliver impactful promotions, activations and product launches that maximise customer engagement and commercial performance. You'll play a key role in influencing trade initiatives, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring our brands are positioned for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trade and category strategies that drive sustainable growth, maximise gross profit, and deliver strong commercial outcomes across the Consumer & Wellness portfolio.
• Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches, promotions, and customer activations, ensuring seamless execution across Sales, Brand, Marketing, and Category teams.
• Partner with key customers and internal stakeholders to deliver category reviews, strategic presentations, and data-driven recommendations that strengthen customer relationships and influence commercial decisions.
• Analyse market, shopper, category, and brand performance to identify growth opportunities, optimise ranging, pricing, promotional investment, and improve category performance.
• Provide leadership and coaching to build category capability, champion analytical thinking, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable customer insights across the team.
• Monitor and report on commercial performance, tracking key metrics, activation outcomes, and category scorecards to drive continuous improvement and maximise return on investment.
• Ensure compliance and operational excellence, maintaining high standards of accuracy across all trade materials while ensuring marketing activities align with industry regulations and company policies.

  
  
Key Skills and Requirements
  

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Brand Management, or Account Management, ideally within the consumer, FMCG, pharmacy, or grocery sectors.
• Proven experience developing and executing trade and category strategies, with a strong understanding of shopper insights, category performance, pricing, promotions, and commercial growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data, interpret market trends, manage P&L performance, and deliver customer-focused recommendations that drive business outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and external retail customers to influence outcomes.
• Highly organised with excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities, deliver high-volume projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline. Experience within the pharmaceutical or OTC industry and exposure to both Sales and Marketing environments will be highly regarded.
