About the role

As a Project Manager at Unita, you’re the on-field captain – bringing leadership, structure and direction throughout delivery while balancing programme, quality, commercial outcomes and client expectations every step of the way, ensuring every project is delivered to a standard we’re proud to put our name on.

You’ll work closely with Site Managers, Contracts Administrators, consultants and clients, making practical decisions that keep projects moving while protecting Unita’s commercial position. You’ll be trusted to identify risks early, solve problems before they escalate, and create confidence for everyone involved.

• Projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to a high standard of quality.
• Clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout delivery
• Risks, issues and delays are identified early and managed before they escalate.
• Commercial performance and Unita’s contractual position are well managed, with clear oversight of budget, variations, forecasting and cashflow.
• Site teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders are aligned and working to the same plan.
• Project documentation, compliance and reporting are accurate, current and well managed.
• Problems are worked through proactively, with practical decisions that keep delivery moving.
• Handover and close-out are completed cleanly, professionally and without avoidable loose ends.

What we’re looking for

• At least 5+ years of experience delivering commercial fitout or construction projects across a range of sectors
• Strong project management skills, including programme, budget and stakeholder management
• Well-developed commercial and contractual understanding
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors
• A relevant construction, project management or trade qualification (preferred)
• A current driver’s licence
