About the role
Why Good Drinks Australia
We're one of Australia's largest independent craft beverage businesses, home to Gage Roads Brewery, Matso's and Alby, and the proud Australian partner for Coors, Miller, Magners, Rekorderlig and San Miguel. You'll get Gage Bucks throughout the year, staff discounts across our range and venues, access to our Employee Assistance Program, and invites to industry, sporting and entertainment events.
Production Operator - Packaging
Gage Roads Brewery, Palmyra WA
Aussie drinkers keep backing Aussie-owned brands, and we're the busiest we've ever been. We're expanding our packaging team to help get beer into every pub, club and stadium in the country and we want people who take pride in getting it right, shift after shift.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of production. You'll fill, seal, label and inspect kegs to food safety standards, keep the line running smoothly, and help catch quality issues before they become problems. It's physical work, kegs up to 60kg in a fast-paced brewery environment with noise, heat and cold, so you'll need to be fit, safety conscious and switched on.
Starting casual on full-time hours (40 hours a week), this role has a genuine pathway to permanent for the right person. You'll rotate through a 3-week shift cycle covering day, afternoon and night shifts, and you'll be trained across the full packaging operation — filling, labelling, palletising, forklifts, quality and cleaning — with pay that grows as your skills do.
What you'll be doing
What you'll need
Bonus points for experience in beverage packaging, brewing or FMCG manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, a high-risk forklift licence, or a first-aid certificate.
The shift pattern
You'll need to be available for our full 3-week roster, 40 hours a week, on rotation:
