As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring components and assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
This is a hands-on role working with precision components, engineering drawings, and inspection equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across production.
Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Measurement
Perform manual inspection and measurement of components and assemblies
Record pre- and post-anodising measurements and maintain accurate data
Inspect welds and completed assemblies using visual and borescope techniques
Documentation & Reporting
Create measurement reports, balloon drawings, and quality records
Prepare Certificates of Conformance and part identification labels
Maintain work orders, travel sheets, and archived documentation
Assembly Support & Quality Control
Kit components to BOM requirements
Assist with Romer Arm scanning and PolyWorks reporting
Support the resolution of quality issues with production teams
Compliance & WHS
Follow WHS policies and participate in safety training and toolbox meetings
Maintain a safe and organised workspace through daily 5S activities
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Exposure to PolyWorks, CMMs, or Romer Arm equipment is advantageous
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
A proactive mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
Confidence in identifying issues and working collaboratively to resolve them
A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
A willingness to learn and develop within a technical inspection environment
