As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring components and assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

This is a hands-on role working with precision components, engineering drawings, and inspection equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across production.

Inspection & Measurement

• Perform manual inspection and measurement of components and assemblies

• Record pre- and post-anodising measurements and maintain accurate data

• Inspect welds and completed assemblies using visual and borescope techniques

Documentation & Reporting

• Create measurement reports, balloon drawings, and quality records

• Prepare Certificates of Conformance and part identification labels

• Maintain work orders, travel sheets, and archived documentation

Assembly Support & Quality Control

• Kit components to BOM requirements

• Assist with Romer Arm scanning and PolyWorks reporting

• Support the resolution of quality issues with production teams

Compliance & WHS

• Follow WHS policies and participate in safety training and toolbox meetings

• Maintain a safe and organised workspace through daily 5S activities

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience using precision measuring instruments

• Exposure to PolyWorks, CMMs, or Romer Arm equipment is advantageous

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• A proactive mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance

• Confidence in identifying issues and working collaboratively to resolve them

• A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards

• A willingness to learn and develop within a technical inspection environment
