SAP Manufacturing Consultant – Quality Management (QM)📍 Melbourne, VIC | 📅 8-Month Contract
QIX Consulting is partnering with a leading global consulting organisation to engage an experienced SAP Manufacturing Consultant with strong Quality Management (QM) expertise for a major SAP transformation program based in Melbourne.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale enterprise implementation, working alongside experienced SAP specialists to design and deliver effective quality management solutions across manufacturing operations.
About the RoleAs an SAP Manufacturing Consultant, you will take a key role in delivering SAP QM solutions across the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand quality processes, facilitate workshops, design future-state solutions, configure SAP QM, and support testing and deployment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGather and analyse business requirements relating to manufacturing quality processesFacilitate workshops with business and project stakeholdersPerform fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best-practice solutionsDesign and document future-state quality management processesConfigure SAP QM solutionsSupport inspection planning, quality inspections, results recording and usage decisionsPrepare functional specifications and configuration documentationDevelop and execute unit test scripts and support SIT and UATSupport solution validation, cutover and deployment activitiesCollaborate with SAP Manufacturing, Production Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain teamsBuild strong relationships with business and project stakeholders
Skills & ExperienceTo be successful, you will ideally have:Strong hands-on experience implementing SAP Quality Management (QM)Experience across at least one end-to-end SAP implementationStrong SAP QM functional configuration experienceExcellent understanding of quality processes within manufacturing environmentsExperience with inspection plans, inspection lots, quality notifications, results recording and usage decisionsKnowledge of SAP QM integration with PP, MM, procurement and manufacturing processesExperience conducting workshops and gathering business requirementsStrong fit-gap analysis and solution design capabilityExperience preparing functional specifications and process documentationExposure to SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing is highly regardedExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
