Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout (Day Procedure Unit)

Greenslopes Private Hospital Day Procedures Unit is expanding! We have multiple permanent opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our Admissions and Recovery Team, working family friendly hours of Monday to Friday (mornings and afternoons) and no night shifts.

You will have access to an outstanding working environment, including modern facilities, a highly respected team of surgeons, nursing and support staff. 

Our Day Procedures unit consists of 10 Procedure Rooms/Operating Theatres, 30 Recovery Bays, and a large discharge lounge incorporating both Day Procedure Unit and Theatre Patients who are being discharged post-procedure. Specialties include Gastroenterology, IVF, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Pain Management, Dermatology, Respiratory, and Urology, with opportunities in Admissions, Recovery and Discharges.

About You

You will bring your proven previous clinical skills and experience as a Registered Nurse and:

• Maintain Ramsay's friendly, caring, and comfortable environment for its patients
• Be a committed team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and patient centred care
• Thrive in working within a varied and fast paced environment
• Perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and greater Day Procedures team

Essential

• Minimum 12 months' post-grad clinical experience in a Day Procedure, Theatre or PACU environment
• Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times
