About the role
Program Kaartdijin are seeking to establish a pool of Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of June, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Program Kaartdijin (the Program) has been established to develop a functionally fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current School Information System (SIS) and include additional information capture and reportability. The Program focuses on providing short term solutions as well as a longer-term solution that meets the operational needs of schools and the reporting and management needs of the Department at large. The Program vision is to provide a contemporary administrative and finance solution connecting people, processes and systems for school communities now and into the future.
Phase 2 deployment started in 2025, introducing capabilities for managing enrolments and finance. Timetabling will start in 2026. As a school transitions to Phase 2, their access to SIS Classic will move to read only.

Suitable applicants will assist with the advice and support to schools, provide solutions to issues raised, and maintain a focus on customer service delivery.
Experience with school systems such as Timetabling, RM Billing, RM Finance, Asset Manager or TechnologyOne CiA will be highly regarded. While experience in schools and finance is preferred, it is not essential. We welcome applicants with the right skills and mindset, as training will be provided.
