Farm Hand

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Farm Hand to join us on our 170-acre farm in Paynedale, 12kms from Donnybrook.

The ideal candidate will have a farming, contracting or trade background, able to work autonomously and be fit and physically capable. Experience with machinery operations and sheep is an advantage.

In this role you will be reporting to the property owner and will be involved in a range of farm operations, including:

·                Seasonal sheep, hay and orchard tasks;

·                Fencing and water system maintenance;

·                Fire, weed and pasture management.

Other duties will include general property and equipment upkeep.

The position is on a casual basis, approx. 10 hours per week over two to three days and may suit a semi-retired person or couple, as residence and building maintenance also required.
