General Practitioner's - Women and Children's Health (Part-Time)

About the role

General Practitioner (Vocationally Registered) position at Elara Women and Children's Clinic, a boutique, female-led clinic in Sawtell, NSW. The role offers flexible part-time sessions, Monday–Friday, within clinic hours of 8:45am–3:30pm with nurse support. As a contractor, you set your own billing arrangement and scope of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide women's and children's health care in a primary care setting

• Conduct consultations in a predominantly private billing model

• Participate in shared consulting room arrangements across the week

• Deliver continuity of care for patients

• Collaborate with nursing staff on immunisations, procedures and care plans

• Opportunity to deliver LARC procedures (IUD and Implanon insertion) with on-site training available

• Shape your scope of practice in areas such as contraception, perimenopause/menopause, antenatal/postnatal care, paediatrics, skin, mental health and chronic disease

About you

• Vocational Registration (FRACGP or equivalent)

• AHPRA registration and appropriate indemnity insurance

• A kind, collaborative GP with a specialist interest or additional qualifications in women's and/or children's health

• Experience or additional qualifications in areas such as contraception, perimenopause/menopause, antenatal/postnatal care, LARC, paediatrics, and/or procedural GP work

• Someone who enjoys working in a family-friendly, supportive setting
