Nayyar Associates Pty Ltd Location: Cairns, Far North Queensland (including Portsmith, Tully and surrounding areas, as required) Position: Concrete Agitator Truck Driver (Full-Time) | Immediate Start Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) + Superannuation + Overtime Due to continued business growth and increasing operational demand, Robust Concrete is seeking skilled and reliable Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers to join our team across Cairns, Far North Queensland , including Portsmith, Tully, and surrounding areas , as operational requirements arise. The successful applicants will operate heavy vehicles to safely and efficiently transport and deliver concrete to commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects while ensuring full compliance with all applicable road transport legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies. Benefits Opportunity to join a growing and expanding business Supportive and professional work environment Competitive salary package based on experience Long-term career growth opportunities Task & responsibilities Driving and operating heavy rigid (HR) concrete agitator trucks for the transportation of concrete Delivering concrete to construction sites, batching plants, and infrastructure projects Conducting daily pre-start and safety inspections Ensuring safe loading, transport, and unloading of concrete in accordance with operational requirements Completing and maintaining delivery documentation, logbooks, and trip records Monitoring vehicle condition and reporting mechanical faults or maintenance requirements Complying with NHVR regulations, fatigue management, mass and load restraint requirements Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in line with company standards Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, plant operators, and site personnel Qualification & experience Valid HR Driver Licence (essential) Minimum 1–2 years of relevant HR Truck driving experience Experience operating concrete agitator trucks (preferred but not essential – training provided) Sound knowledge of road safety, transport regulations, and compliance requirements in Australia Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment with flexible hours, including overtime and weekends Strong communication skills and a reliable, safety-focused approach to work White Card preferred
