Commissioning Engineers

About the role

Sitepulse Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers to join our team and support a major water infrastructure project. The role is based on a 2:1 FIFO roster out of Perth to Karratha. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale project involving construction, completions, commissioning and engineering activities within a complex operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Completions Lead in the development and review of the completions procedures, processes and systems.

• Inspect and validate that the constructed installation and associated construction documentation adhere to the project quality, standards and requirements, and is complete for system handover.

• Resolve issues impacting completions.

• Manage and track punch lists, system walkdowns, and handover documentation, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items to deliver systems to the Commissioning team and handover to the Operations team.

• Liaise with construction contractors, commissioning and operations teams to facilitate a smooth and efficient handover processes.

• Proactively identify and address issues or discrepancies in the construction phase that could impact system completion.

• Provide regular updates and reports on construction completion status, highlighting any critical issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.

• Mitigate risks associated with the construction completion phase to avoid delays or cost overruns.

• Provide technical interface between the Project and Operations teams.

• Proactive review of the Contractor's handover documentation and reporting on project completion progress, including input into prioritisation of completions requirements for commissioning.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Open to FIFO rosters.

• Extensive experience in completions commissioning and testing complex systems.

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Effective communication and team coordination abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously with a strong commitment to safety.
