Wine Promotion and Tasting Assistant

About the role

Calneggia Family Vineyards is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Part time or Casual Wine Promotion and Tasting Assistant for approximately 10-12 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as the role develops. The successful candidate will support our sales team and represent our portfolio of premium wine brands across the Perth metropolitan area.

This is a varied, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, has an interest in wine and is confident working independently. The role will primarily involve weekday store visits as directed, as well as in store wine tastings, usually on Friday afternoons, and promotional activities as required.

You will report to our Key Accounts Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-store consumer wine tastings and promote brand awareness

• Visit retail stores across the Perth metropolitan area and build positive relationships with store staff and management

• Check stock levels, shelf placement and promotional displays

• Assist with basic merchandising and presentation of our wine brands

• Take photos and report store observations, stock and display information back to our sales team

• Assist with other promotional activities as required

About you

• Friendly, reliable and confident engaging with both consumers and retail staff

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Well organised and comfortable working independently

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is required

• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle is essential

• Previous experience in wine, retail, hospitality, promotions or merchandising would be an advantage

• Genuine interest in wine and a positive, professional approach
