Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on AI-Enabled Data Migration Specialist to embed AI capabilities within an existing enterprise migration pipeline spanning Databricks (Azure), cutover platform, and Salesforce. The role focuses on identifying, building, and operating practical AI solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase migration accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.

This is a delivery-focused role where the successful candidate will actively execute migration activities, leveraging AI agents and automation to enhance data preparation, cutover orchestration, validation, and reconciliation processes. The individual will work within the existing technology ecosystem, applying sound engineering judgement to determine when AI-driven approaches deliver value versus traditional automation methods.

The role requires strong expertise in data migration, data quality, reconciliation, and platform integration, along with the ability to design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve AI-assisted components operating across Databricks, migration orchestration tools, and Salesforce environments. The candidate will also play a key role in ensuring AI-enabled processes are transparent, reliable, and operationally trusted by the broader migration team.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement AI agents / tools that plug into one or more stages of the existing migration pipeline
• Work within existing tools and platforms rather than introducing a parallel stack
• Apply judgement on where AI genuinely adds value versus where a deterministic script is the better (and cheaper) answer
• Build and maintain data mapping, reconciliation, and validation logic across Databricks, the cutover tool, and Salesforce
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and iterate on AI-assisted components already in flight during migration cutovers
• Document AI touchpoints clearly enough for the broader migration team to operate and trust them

Skills Required :

• Good understanding of Medallion Architecture and modern Data Engineering
• Databricks: PySpark/SQL, Delta Lake, notebooks, job orchestration, Unity Catalog
• Azure ecosystem: Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and networking/security basics for Azure-hosted workloads
• Salesforce data model: objects, relationships, API limits, Bulk API, data loader patterns
• Familiarity with cutover / migration orchestration tooling and general migration discipline (mapping, reconciliation, validation, rollback and cutover planning)
• Preferably Telco Experience
• Practical experience building or configuring agents — orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Azure AI Foundry's agent tooling — not just single-call LLM integrations
• Azure OpenAI Service experience, given the pipeline is already Azure-hosted
• Working knowledge of Databricks' native AI surface (Mosaic AI, AI Functions in SQL, Databricks Assistant)
• RAG / embeddings experience is a plus where unstructured data (e.g. legacy field documentation) is involved
